Well, it’s pretty clear from our services page, but we’re really good at website development, custom software development, data migration, website maintenance, SEO, marketing, and most other things web-related.
Ah, a good question! Short answer: it depends. It depends on the type and complexity of the project, as well as the expected timeline. Generally, we try to stick to around 25-50 dollars per hour. Your mileage may vary.
More than likely, yes! We have vast experience in fixing and upgrading WordPress, phpBB, Joomla, and many other CMS’ and forum software. If you have a custom software solution that needs some help, we totally got you covered for that too. Just contact us with some details and we’ll get it all sorted out.
Seriously. People ask this. We’re not making it up.
That depends. Are you amazing? If so, then probably, yeah! Just send us your resume and tell us a little bit about yourself and why you think you’re a good fit for the Iambic Design team. We’ll check it out and get back to you ASAP.
Ah-ha! It’s about time you asked. Short answer: it’s a really cool word. Just say it a few times. I-am-bic. It kinda just rolls out of your face. Iambic. Neat, huh? That’s really the whole story behind it. Our founder liked the word, and ran with it. However, we’ve since come up with a super cool explanation.
Iambic Pentameter is a form of writing, usually found in poetry. It’s essentially the rhythm of the line, with a stressed syllable followed by a non-stressed syllable. So with that in mind, and knowing that Matt Mullenweg coined the phrase “Code is Poetry”, well, you can see where we’re going here. Code is poetry, and our code, and our attitude in general has a certain rhythm to it. Like a heartbeat. Our code is our heartbeat. Iambic. Yeah.
